This is the most aerodynamic wheel we offer, and about the lighest Capreo compatible at 1250 grams. Rolf Prima's exclusive Paired Spoke Technology allows for lighter rims and fewer spokes, which yield considerably less wind drag, without compromising wheel stiffness, durability or stability. These wheels use 20 bladed Sapim spokes from Belgium. Each wheel is handbuilt right here in Eugene by a master technician. We do not recommend riders exceeding 220lbs to use these wheels. PLEASE CONFIRM you have a Capreo 9-26 tooth compatible cassette if you wish to use an existing cassette with this wheel. The wheel pictured is a Capreo cassette hub. Capreo is a specific cassette type which allows the use of a 9, 10 and 11 tooth cogs. The use of these cogs allows the rider to have a normal gear range, despite the fact that the wheels on a Bike Friday are smaller in size.
